After an early morning cuppa with Manoj Ji and Shweta Ji Mehra at Pakenham, we were just about to leave when Arvind Ji Jadhav arrived on his pushbike. He must have left his place around 5:00 AM to reach Mehra Family’s house so early to see us before we left for the onward journey. Arvind Ji expressed that he would feel proud to walk a few steps with me. I felt honoured that I had his blessings and company on this walk. Subsequently, we took leave, I got into the Ute and Vishal bhayia drove to Nar Nar Goon.
We started the walk around 6:30 AM. It was a fairly long road for miles and miles taking us through the towns of Tynong, Garfield, Bunyip, Longwarry, Drouin and then to Warragul. Vishal remained ahead of me most of the time and kept waiting for me to pass him. We stopped at Bunyip for a cuppa and breakfast, and we had lunch at Longwarry. I think, Australia my be the only country where the vehicle drivers are required to give way to stock. After a short break at Drouin, we arrived at Warragul. I walked to the town centre and Vishal picked me up. We drove to the motel and checked in. Soon after Sharad Patel arrived.
I had a shower and took some rest. Sharad bhai and Vishal ji went out for dinner. They returned with Indian food for my dinner. We all had a cuppa before Sharad bhai left for Melbourne. Vishal was still sorting out things on the phone when I fell asleep.
